I am swimming in honor of my brother John Burns, aka Uncle B.  He left us too early but bravely faced his diagnosis of metastatic melanoma everyday. I swim to remember the love of the ocean he helped instill in me. I swim to honor his memory. I swim to live my life with perseverance and to make every moment count. Life is precious.
