Swim for Grand Traverse Bay

I am passionate about protecting the rivers, lakes and beaches that make the Grand Traverse region so beautiful and that’s why I’ve committed to swimming 2 miles in open water in the 2024 Swim for Grand Traverse Bay. To be eligible to compete in this race, I need to raise at least $150 by August 8th, 2025 to benefit The Watershed Center (TWC).

TWC is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the health of Grand Traverse Bay and acts to protect and preserve the bay’s watershed.

Their mission is important to me because I live here, swim here and recreate here and now my grandchildren do as well when they visit. Visiting family and friends always comment on the water…it’s the water that draws people to us! We must keep it clean for present and future generations.
