Get ready to Zoom-Zoom your way to a spooky good time! The Zoomers Southwest Florida Running & Triathlon Club is thrilled to announce the annual Trick or Trot 5K Trail Run / 1 Mile Trail Walk, and this year, it’s bigger and better, thanks to our title sponsor, Mazda of Port Charlotte. 

Event Highlights

Race Through the Haunted Trail: 

Join fellow ghouls and goblins for a fun-filled, Halloween-themed 5K trail run or 1-mile Zombie walk through the beautiful Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park. Our smooth mixed-surface trail features mostly dirt and gravel, perfect for runners and walkers of all levels.

Glow in the Dark Finisher Medal:

5K runners who cross the finish line will take home an awesome glow-in-the-dark finisher medal.

Post Race Refreshments:

After crossing the finish line, enjoy fresh, delicious pancakes cooked up by Zoomers just for our participants!  We'll have post-race food and refreshments for all ages.

For our 21 and up participants, our friends at My Favorite Race Events will be serving up beer! 

Costumes Welcome:

Channel your inner monster, witch, or hero! Costumes are encouraged, and there will be awards for the best costume.

Prizes and Awards for 5k: 

Compete to win Male and Female Overall, Youth, Masters (40+), Grandmaster (50+), Senior Grandmaster (60+), and Veterans (70+), and the top 3 Male/Female in each age group. 0-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.  5k participants will receive a finisher medal.

1-Mile Walk:

Exciting news! We're introducing a 1-Mile Zombie Walk this year, so there's something for everyone. Walkers will receive a bib and a shirt (if signed up before the shirt deadline of 9/23/24). 

Family Fun:

This event is perfect for the whole family! Kids aged 1-14 can join in on the fun for a special rate.

Registration Details:

$30.00 through July 15
$35.00 through August 15
$40.00 from August 16 through October 18. 

$45.00 October 19 - Race Day

Kids Ages 1-14: $23.00

Zoomers Club Members: Enjoy a $5.00 discount for both adults and kids until registration closes!

Join Us for a Great Cause:

All proceeds from the Trick or Trot 5K will benefit the Zoomers Scholarship Fund, helping to support young athletes in our community. If you can't participate but still want to support the cause, simply click 'Donate'.

The Suncoast Humane Society is bringing 2 dogs and a puppy! They'll be collecting donations for the animal shelter. Be sure to enter the raffle to win a Stand Up Paddle Board!
