Description
Join paddlers of all types on May 6th from 9a-11a at Kent Island Yacht Club for a surfski paddling clinic with Alessia Faverio from Epic, a SUP clinic with Nicky Stimpson from Chesupeake and a chance to checkout and jump in an OC1 and an OC6.
Alessia is an Epic Kayaks team member and the first person to surfski the entire length of the Chesapeake Bay as part of Bay Paddle '21.
Nicky Stimpson is a certified instructor with the Professional Stand Up Paddle Association and the first female to SUP the entire length of the Chesapeake Bay as part of Bay Paddle '21.
In addition to surkski and SUP paddling techniques and race prep, paddlers will also have the opportunity to:
- Demo some of the latest Epic surfskis and paddles
- Demo OC1 and OC2s
- Get out on the water in an OC6
- Win some cool Epic prizes and see the latest gear
