PARKING & DIRECTIONS
GETTING TO THE RACE: The Race Start is on Jos. Campau, just south of Holbrook at Hanley Street.
The race route will be closed at 8 AM. You will not be able to cross the barricades after this time until the entire race has ended. We advise parking outside of the race barricades, and walk to the start if you need to leave before noon. The route map is posted HERE. Please plan accordingly. The Paczki Run happens in 70-degree weather or 10 inches of snow. Please dress appropriately and know that “the Run must go on.”
PARKING: Several municipal lots are available in the city. Please note: cars will not be able to pass through runners so if you are a fast runner, keep that in consideration when identifying places to park. There is also street parking, but please do not block driveways, alleys, or park on the 5K route, as you will be towed. Please be certain that you pay the meter and add extra time to stay longer and eat drink and shop! We advise parking outside of the race barricades, and walking to the start if you need to leave before noon.
POST RACE FOOD & FUN!
Water, BEER, Paczek and… Vodka?
Water will be available after you cross the finish line, where you will receive a can of still water, and a Paczek.
This year in addition to a beer, we are providing a small shot of Detroit Distillery’s Paczki Vodka! Beer and vodka will be distributed to those 21 and older near the polka tent after the run.
