Check In/Start Line Volunteer Duties
-volunteers will check in racers as they arrive
-once racer is checked in volunteers will give racer their racer bibs
-volunteers will let racers know where to place bibs (front of boat, back of boat, and back of pfd)
- Volunteer shift 4:30p.m.-8:00p.m.

Racer Counter Volunteer Duties
-Volunteers will keep track of racer boats as they pass by
-Volunteers will let racers know what lap they may be on
-Volunteers will let racers know when they should head for the finish line
-Volunteers will assist with collection of race signs after their list of racers are finished
-Volunteer shift 6:30p.m.-10:00p.m.
***When racers are going by Volunteers may need to ask racers for their bib number***

Finish Line Volunteer Duties
-Volunteers will check off racers as they pass the finish line
-Volunteers will write down what time each racer passes the finish line
-Volunteer shift 6:30p.m.-10:00p.m.
***Volunteers may need to ask racers for their bib number as they approach if they cannot see it clearly***

Kayaker Volunteer Duties
-Kayaker volunteers will either be floating in certain areas along the race route or will be trailing behind the last place kayaker in the race
-kayaker must be comfortable in a kayak
-kayaker must be able to make turns in kayak
-if kayaker does not have a kayak please let us know
-Volunteer shift 5:30p.m.-10:00p.m.

-Volunteers will help keep the flow of boat traffic moving as racers get staged in the water
