Description
Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument by joining the Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument's (FMB) first annual Boats in the Breaks canoe and kayak race. Paddle 20 miles of Montana's Wild and Scenic Missouri river from Fort Benton to Wood Bottom Recreation Area while supporting FMB's efforts to protect and preserve the monument. Kick back and relax after the race with the cooperating Boats, Brews and Blues event in Fort Benton where our partners at the ChoCo Fun will be hosting a MT Craft BrewFest and free concert.

- Solo or teams of two
- Awards for top three finishers in Solo canoe/kayak and Pairs canoe/kayak
- MT BrewFest and free concert in Fort Benton after the race
- Race will be limited to 100 boats across all classes
ALL RACERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICES (PFDs) WHILE IN THEIR BOATS.
COVID COMPLIANCE INFORMATION
We will be adhering to all health and safety standards in place at the time of the event including but not limited to: mandatory masks, social distancing, and limited spectator numbers.
