Who Are the Philly Mayor's Cup Clubs?
Participating Clubs are ones that meet three key criteria:
- Running is a primary purpose of the club
- The club meets regularly, primarily within the city boundaries of Philadelphia
- The club exists for reasons beyond participation in the Philly Mayor's Club.
Each club entry is organized by a Team Captain, and renews it's membership in the Philly Mayor's Cup on an annual basis. All Team Captain's agree to adhere to the spirit of the competition:
The spirit Philly Mayor's Cup is one of community participation in the sport, bringing together runners from throughout the city, and promoting fair competition.
Once registration opens, all registrations require a password from your club - if you do not know the password for your club, please contact your Team Captain via the information in their club page (from the list below).
If your running club fits the criteria above and is interested in participating, please fill out the Club Application. Clubs must apply by 5/16 to be included in registration at the Pep Rally on 5/23.
Don't Have a Club? You Have Options!
Find a Club:
Most participating clubs welcome new members! While some have membership requirements, many are open to all. Browse through the clubs under "Find Your Club" and reach out via the listed social media, email, or website information listed.
Be a Free Agent!
The Philly Mayor's Cup is designed as a team event. There are no individual winners. However, if you are not currently running with a club, you can still register as a free agent!
How it Works:
- Free agents can register at any time before 7/28/2024
- If you meet a club after you register and want to join their team, you can do so via these instructions: https://help.runsignup.com/support/solutions/articles/17000062681-join-an-existing-group
- If you have not found a team by 7/28/2024, we will assign you to one that may need a runner in the distance/category you selected. We'll connect you and the team captain so you can meet your adopted team on race day and join their post-race festivities.
