These courses are hard (but fun).
Before we get to the maps and descriptions, let's begin there. Each distance includes challenging elements, including steep hills, technical trail elements, grass, and of course, August heat. Run your own pace and enjoy the views!
Please Note: These are NOT certified courses, and are subject to change due to trail conditions and road closures. All distances have a bit of "ish", but we guarantee they will follow the general guidelines below, and will be within 10% of the advertised distance. GPS can be inaccurate, especially on curvy trails; please expect some variation in distance on your watches.
5K Cross Country Course
The 5K adheres to some sections of the traditional Belmont Plateau Cross Country Course with a little extra interior trail. It involves some gravel path and grass, and several tough hills, but it is not a technical trail course.

The 5 Mile race is a Road Race with several tough hills and ~3/4 of a mile on grass.

10K Trail Course
The 10K is a single loop of semi-technical trails through Fairmount Park. It consists of many rolling hills, ~3/4 mile on road, and ~3/4 of a mile on grass.

The 10 Mile race is a Road Race with several tough hills, a flat section along MLK Drive and ~3/4 of a mile on grass.

Half Marathon Trail Course
The Half Marathon is a two loops of semi-technical trails through Fairmount Park, along with an additional loop of the grass plateau. It consists of many rolling hills, ~3/4 mile on road, and ~2 miles on grass.
